Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology.
• New York State Radiologic Technology License.
• New York State Radiologic Technology Permit can be accepted in lieu of NYS License.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations independently according to physician orders.
• Position patients and imaging equipment to obtain optimal images while minimizing exposure.
• Adjust technical factors to ensure image quality and safety.
• Use shielding, markers, immobilization devices appropriately.
• Generate digital images and prepare hard copies when required.
• Review images for quality before submission to PACS/EMR.
• Follow radiology requisition instructions.
