Spire Orthopedic Partners is seeking a Per Diem X-Ray Technologist in North Chelmsford, MA. You will acquire radiographic images, position patients, and ensure safety protocols while minimizing radiation exposure.

The role requires ARRT certification and Massachusetts state license, with day hours 7:30am–4:30pm and occasional travel between locations. North Chelmsford/Westford site offers per diem scheduling and opportunities within a dynamic healthcare network.

Competenze

ARRT Certification and Massachusetts State License required.
Ability to remain calm under stress and provide compassionate patient care.
Knowledge of HIPAA, safety regulations, and medical terminology.

Mansioni

Acquires digital radiographic images as ordered by clinicians.
Prepares patient for radiological procedures by positioning patient, moving equipment and adjusting exposure factors.
Minimizes radiation exposure by using protection techniques and shielding.
Acquires C-Arm films for epidural steroid injections.
Enters orders into the practice management system.
Reviews for proper identification and quality check.
Prepares digital imaging for reading by physicians.
Transports patients between radiologic procedures and exam rooms.
Uploads images to patient chart as needed.
Burns CDs after release is obtained.
Files films, discs and records as needed.
Maintains a clean workstation between patients and at shift end.
