Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners in Greenwich, CT is seeking an experienced radiology technician for a per diem role. You will operate CR and DR x-ray equipment and perform diagnostic radiographic procedures across multiple rooms.

The position requires graduation from an approved radiology program, ARRT registration or eligibility, and CT license in CT (NY a plus). Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of radiology.
• Valid CT X-ray technician license; ARRT registered.
• Minimum two years' radiology experience.
• Orthopaedic radiology experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• ARRT registered or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Operate CR and DR x-ray equipment.
• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in assigned areas.
• Ensure prompt and professional radiographs.
• Review documentation to perform procedures.
• Follow special instructions from medical staff.
• Inspect radiographic rooms and equipment for maintenance and cleanliness.
• Participate in training of new staff.
• Bill charges and enter patient demographics into PACS.
• Assist in safe patient transfer and QA activities.
