Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT imaging and radiology procedures in a patient-centered, physician-led network. You will follow physician orders, protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure, and help prepare patients for imaging with professional bedside care.

The role requires CT radiology licensing and ARRT certification, excellent patient interaction skills, and strong anatomical knowledge to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Connecticut Radiology license and ARRT certification required.
• Excellent patient and people skills.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and cross-sectional anatomy; proper positioning and scanning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Follow physicians’ orders and radiation safety protocols.
• Assist patients onto the exam table and ensure immobilization for imaging.
• Operate radiologic equipment and obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Prepare patients and provide education about procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to HIPAA and safety regulations.
