Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a CAT Scan Technologist to perform radiographic and CT examinations under supervision with independent judgment. You will prepare patients, review orders, educate on contrast material, and operate CT equipment following radiologist protocols.

Maintain patient safety, HIPAA compliance, and accurate documentation. The role requires NY/CT licensure, ARRT BD/CT with strong knowledge of anatomy and imaging techniques, and the ability to coordinate with radiologists and support

Qualifications

• New York State and/or Connecticut license as Radiologic Technologist with ARRT BD/CT.
• Maintains high-quality diagnostic imaging following standard procedures and safety.
• Excellent patient communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist patients for CAT scan procedures.
• Review orders to ensure appropriate exams are performed.
• Educate patients on contrast material and potential contraindications.
• Set up CT scan equipment and follow radiologist protocols.
• Acquire optimal images with correct positioning and parameters.
• Provide pre- and post-scan instructions to patients.
