Job summary

Generations Healthcare is seeking a Rehab Aide on a per diem weekend schedule to support licensed therapists in providing quality patient care at our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.

Responsibilities include assisting with therapy treatments, maintaining safety and cleanliness, coordinating with staff and therapists, and preparing equipment and documentation for patient charts. The role requires a High School diploma and English communication skills, with a CNA license preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate required.
• CNA license preferred.
• Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
• Completion of an on-the-job orientation and training program or demonstrates competency in designated areas.
• Able to move and transfer residents in conjunction with standard treatment and in accordance with orientation and training program.

Responsibilities

• Assists with and performs routine assigned physical and occupational therapy treatments; demonstrating knowledge of treatment goals and precautions in order to assist with or treat patients.
• Follows all safety regulations, protocols, policies and procedures.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness of work area and equipment.
• Communicates with facility staff.
• Confers with therapists to establish efficient treatment schedules.
• Transports, transfers and facilitates patient care as directed by therapists.
• Prepares patient equipment and supplies for treatment
