Job summary

UCLA Health and David Geffen School of Medicine operates an outpatient Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy clinic where Rehab Aide I/II roles support daily operations and patient care. You will help maintain cleanliness, manage supplies, and perform administrative tasks while assisting with patient care under licensed staff.

Additionally, you may back up the front desk, answer phones, and assist with appointment scheduling as needed.

Qualifications

Description

The Rehab Aide I and II provides essential support coverage for a fast-paced outpatient Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy clinic. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience.

Primary responsibilities include maintaining clinic cleanliness and organization; managing supplies and linens; performing various administrative support tasks; and providing physical assistance with patient care under the direction of licensed therapy staff. The Rehab Aide will also serve as backup support for the front desk, including answering phones and assisting with appointment scheduling as needed.

Salary Range:$26.51 - $29.44 per hour. The position may convert to a career appointment.

• Normal duties involve frequent lifting (up to 35 pounds), transferring patients, pushing a wheelchair up to 500 feet.
