Qualifications

• Certificate from an approved ultrasound/vascular technology education program.
• Registered ARDMS.
• Preferred: American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and Registered Vascular Technologist.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to obtain quality images and records data.
• Directs and monitors student clinical training during examinations.
• Reviews requisitions and confirms exam type with medical staff as needed.
• Ensures adherence to HIPAA and hospital protocols in patient information handling.
• Maintains equipment and performs QC checks per department guidelines.
