NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for per diem shifts in Radiology-Ultrasound. • Registered or Registry Eligible with ARDMS.
• Completion of two-year Ultrasound Diagnostic School.
• Approximately three to six months on-the-job training.

Responsabilidades

• Corroborates patients' clinical history with the procedure and radiologist review.
• Positions patient and equipment to optimally demonstrate the area of interest.
• Verifies informed consent and assists during interventional procedures as needed.
• Evaluates images for technical quality and selects appropriate ultrasound equipment.
• Maintains patient care and safety during procedures.
