• American Heart Association – Basic Life Support certificate required.
• ACLS required for some units.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and nursing judgments.
• Assess health care needs and formulate a care plan.
• Coordinate care with staff to ensure safe, patient-centered delivery.
• Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning and education.
• Maintain annual mandatory education requirements and participate in quality improvement activities.
