Qualifications

• License Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
• American Heart Association – Basic Life support Certificate required.
• ACLS required for some specific clinical units.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients and makes necessary nursing judgments.
• Assesses health care needs for formulation of a care plan and its implementation.
• Coordinates care and directs assistive personnel to provide safe, patient-centered care.
• Demonstrates ability to educate patients and families according to care plan and discharge needs.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and continuous professional development.
