UC San Diego Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the Per Diem Urology Clinic. The RN will focus on oncology patient care coordination, direct clinic care, and triage duties in a Magnet-designated health system.

Strong communication and multitasking are essential to support the urology team. Minimum California RN license with two years in urology and one year in oncology is required; BLS/BART, EPIC experience, and flexibility for 10-hour shifts (Mon-Fri) are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• RN License issued by the State of California.
• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six months of hire date.
• Minimum two years of RN experience in a urology setting.
• One year of RN oncology experience.
• Demonstrates critical nursing thinking and clinical skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Provide autonomous nursing care within ANA Standards of Practice.
• Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams for timely assessments and smooth transitions.
• Direct patient care in the clinic and triage responsibilities.
• Manage EPIC in-basket communications with providers.
• Cover sick calls and vacations for the urology nursing team.
