Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires CA RN license and active BLS certification.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required.
• Accredited RN program completion required.
• Direct IV chemotherapy/immunotherapy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures, medication administration, chemotherapy/biotherapy administration as appropriate.
• Educate patients and document patient interactions.
• Practice infection control.
• Contribute to the team to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice

Education

ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate

Completion of accredited RN program

Current CA RN license

Current American Heart Association BLS

Direct experience administering IV chemotherapy and immunotherapy
