Job summary

Qualifications

• Current phlebotomy certification preferred at hire.
• Current EKG certification preferred at hire.
• BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Minimum six months of acute care hospital or physician’s office experience preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Provides basic nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse in charge of the unit.
• Maintains a safe environment and participates in teamwork to support patient care.
