Job summary

A healthcare provider in Massachusetts seeks to hire an Ultrasound Technologist to produce two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for diagnosis. The ideal candidate will ensure diagnostic quality, operate ultrasound equipment effectively, and have ARDMS registration in Ultrasound Technology. Previous ultrasound experience is preferred. This per diem role offers competitive pay ranging from $41.97 to $56.01 per hour and requires flexibility with work hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience performing ultrasound procedures is preferred or equivalent experience as determined by Department Manager.
• American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) registration in Ultrasound Technology required.
• AHA BLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Produces two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs using ultrasound equipment.
• Selects equipment and explains process to the patient.
• Starts equipment and records diagnostic data on computer system or film.
• Assures all ultrasound images are of optimum diagnostic quality.
• Operates and maintains diagnostic ultrasound processing and printing equipment.
