Atria Health LLC is seeking a Radiation Technologist in Town of Florida, NY. This role involves conducting imaging according to Atria safety protocols and ensuring patient comfort through effective communication. Required qualifications include a vocational diploma, licenses, RDMS/RDCS certification, ARRT registration, and over 2 years of experience. The ideal candidate should be compassionate, diplomatic, and committed to high standards. Experience with Philips and Cannon ultrasound machines, as well as Athena, is a plus.

Qualificações

• 2+ years’ experience as a Radiation Technologist.
• Experience using Philips & Cannon Ultrasound machines.
• Experience using Athena is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct imaging in accordance with Atria safety protocols, policies, and procedures
• Use proper patient positioning tools, devices, equipment adjustment, and ergonomically correct scanning techniques to ensure patient comfort and safety
• Assume responsibility for the safety of the patient during the imaging and communicate in a manner appropriate to the patient’s ability to understand
• Except as authorized by clinical management, refer specific diagnostic, treatment or prognosis questions to the appropriate physician or healthcare professional

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical School Diploma required
• Current License required
• RDMS and RDCS certification required
• Current ARRT registration required
• 2+ years’ experience as a Radiation Technologist
• Compassionate and effective communicator with strong tact and diplomacy
• Committed to excellence, high standards and collegiality
• Experience working with Philips & Cannon Ultrasound machines
• Experience using Athena (Preferred)
