Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical School Diploma is required.
• Current license required to practice as a Radiology Technologist.
• RDMS and RDCS certification required.
• Current ARRT registration required.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Radiation Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Conduct imaging in accordance with safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Use proper patient positioning tools, devices, equipment adjustment, and ergonomically correct scanning techniques to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Refer specific diagnostic, treatment or prognosis questions to the appropriate physician when authorized.

Specifically, You Will

• Conduct imaging in accordance with Atria safety protocols, policies, and procedures
• Use proper patient positioning tools, devices, equipment adjustment, and ergonomically correct scanning techniques to ensure patient comfort and safety
• Assume responsibility for the safety of the patient during the imaging and communicate in a manner appropriate to the patient’s ability to understand
• Except as authorized by clinical management, refer specific diagnostic, treatment or prognosis questions to the appropriate physician or healthcare professional

Requirements

• Vocational or Technical School Diploma required
• Current License required
• RDMS and RDCS certification required
• Current ARRT registration required
• 2+ years’ experience as a Radiation Technologist

• Experience working with Philips & Cannon Ultrasound machines
