Atrius Health is seeking a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform ultrasound imaging across multiple sites in eastern Massachusetts, including Burlington, Concord, and Chelmsford. You will operate per diem, covering varied shifts and adhering to department policies under Radiology - Ultrasound.

Candidates should have ARDMS certification, completed diagnostic medical sonographic training, and at least 2 years of ultrasound experience; CEU documentation is required for certification

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g., GED, HiSET, TASC) from an accredited institution or governmental unit.
• Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonographic program and ARDMS certified.
• CEU documentation required for certification must be provided.
• 2+ years of ultrasound experience.

Responsabilidades

• A Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) performs diagnostic and special procedure ultrasonography in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Typically reports to a radiology or ultrasound coordinator.
• Incumbents hired as general sonographers in regular status are required to receive certification as a Registered Vascular Sonographer within one year from the date of hire. If incumbents fail the test twice within this first year, they will be terminated but able to apply for open available positions within the organization. Per diem employees are encouraged but not required to obtain the certification.
