Job summary

Atrius Health is seeking a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) for per diem, as-needed coverage across Burlington, Concord, and Chelmsford, MA. The role requires ARDMS certification and at least 2 years of ultrasound experience.

The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and a pathway to certification as a Registered Vascular Sonographer within one year for those hired as general sonographers. Local coverage includes multiple facilities in eastern Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution or governmental unit.
• Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonographic program and ARDMS certified.
• CEU documentation required for certification must be provided.
• 2+ years of ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• A Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) performs diagnostic and special procedure ultrasonography in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Typically reports to a radiology or ultrasound coordinator.
• Incumbents hired as general sonographers in regular status are required to receive certification as a Registered Vascular Sonographer within one year from the date of hire.
