• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• Certification by an organization recognized by the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy required; new hires have one year to become certified.
• Registration by the Board of Pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacy Technician required.
• Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified time periods.
• Ability to handle and adapt to frequent directives, interruptions, and changes in workload and work schedule.
• 20 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) annually as approved by Pharmacy Management.
• Staffing a minimum of 4 shifts per month on weekends and/or weekdays to meet department needs.

# Per Diem Technician PharmacyPaterson, NJ, United States(On-site)## Job DescriptionResponsible for performing the technical tasks involved with the storage, distribution, packaging and labeling of drugs. Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, maintaining patient records, and completing required documentation of work.
