Job summary

St. Joseph's Health is seeking a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Assistant to support the inpatient psychiatric unit, assisting with structured activities, personal care, and discharge planning.

You will provide crisis intervention to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment in collaboration with the unit staff. This role requires a high school diploma, reading/writing/speaking English, and BLS certification at hire or within 6 months; phlebotomy education is also required.

Qualifications

• Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent. Prior healthcare experience with demonstrated competency in a psychiatric setting preferred. Ability to read, write, and speak English in a clear and concise manner.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire or within 6 months of hire. Phlebotomy education required at time of hire or within 6 months of hire.
