Job summary

St. Joseph's Health in Paterson, NJ is seeking a pharmacy technician to assist the pharmacist in providing medications and healthcare products with exceptional customer care.

The role requires a high school diploma, fluent English, and the ability to perform math calculations accurately. Candidates with 1–2 years in a retail pharmacy, 340B or specialty pharmacy experience, and active NJ Board of Pharmacy registration within 90 days are preferred.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required. Must be proficient and fluent in reading, writing, speaking, analyzing, interpreting, and understanding the English language. Must be able to perform mathematical functions, including ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Prefer 1 to 2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy environment; Previous 340B and/or specialty pharmacy experience preferred.

Prefer PTCB certification. Require active registration and licensure with NJ Board of Pharmacy as pharmacy technician, within 90 days of hire. Must be at least 18 years of age.

St. Joseph's Health provides a salary range to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc.

The salary range does not include incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
