Job summary

Directly responsible for the maintenance, functioning and operation of all x‑ray equipment in the department. Work closely with a team of nurses and doctors during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. Provide radiology coverage during routine and emergency cases.

Work flexible hours to cover occasional late or early cases and participate in on‑call rotation during off hours, weekends and holidays for emergency (e.g., STEMI) cases.

Responsibilities

Work closely with nurses and doctors during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
• Current certification and registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
• Current NJ DEP Licensure to practice in New Jersey.
• Current BLS certification.
• Positive moral standing, good organizational and communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team.
