In this role, you will maintain surgical instrumentation and set up supplies for surgeries at a busy multispecialty ambulatory surgery center. Candidates should be Certified Sterile Processing Technicians with 2-3 years of experience, familiar with sterilizers and operating room instrumentation. Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician.
• Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience as Instrument Room Technician.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Should know operating room instrumentation.

• Care for and maintain all surgical instrumentation.
• Set up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Skills

Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician

High School Diploma or Equivalent

2-3 years experience as Instrument Room Technician

Experience with all types of sterilizers

Knowledge of operating room instrumentation

Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray

Understanding operation of steam/gravity sterilizer

Understanding Sterrad sterilizers

Ability to prepare reports and keep records

Familiarity with medical terminology
