Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology program or LPN program.
• Current, unencumbered LPN licensure from the state of employment if hiring into the LPN capacity.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and manage surgical cases.
• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique; address breaks quickly.
• Work with the circulating nurse to count sponges, instruments, and sharps per guidelines.
