Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program or LPN educational program.
• CPR required; AST/NCCT certification preferred.
• Prior experience in a surgical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and manage surgical cases with focus on sterile field integrity.
• Address breaks in sterile technique promptly and correctly.
• Maintain accurate counts of sponges, instruments, and sharps with the circulating nurse.
