Everleap Fertility in Bellevue, WA seeks a Per Diem Surgical Center Technician to join the team Tuesday–Friday, 7:00 AM–1:30 PM. The role supports the surgical team by handling instruments, preparing sterile tables, and maintaining aseptic technique during gyn and urology procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of a certified surgical technologist program, and current BLS certification. Perks include medical/dental/vision options and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of a nationally accredited educational program for surgical technologists and hold a certified surgical technologist credential.
• Current BLS Certification – required.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of surgical scrub processes and instrumentation for gyn, and urology procedures.
• Follows proper sterility, infection control, and safety precautions in the performance of all duties.
• Assembles supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures.
• Prepares sterile instrument table.
• Maintains aseptic techniques and actively monitors situations which could lead to breaches in aseptic technique.
• Transports patients to and from surgical suite.
• Assists the surgical team in surgical procedures which includes passing instruments, sponges, and sutures.
• Gathers equipment for cleaning and sterilization.
• Orients and mentors new staff members.
• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
