Job summary

Hudson Public Schools in Hudson, MA is seeking a Daily Substitute Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. On-call substitutes will carry out the lesson plans of the regularly appointed teacher and support diverse learners in a varied K-12 setting.

Scheduling and interviews will occur over the summer while reviewing applications proceeds with a few weeks' lead time. Position is part-time with per diem, flexible scheduling, and pay of $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates/Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• DESE licensure preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age to work at High School level.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the curriculum and lesson plans.
• Assign homework according to the teacher’s plan.
• Comply with all school regulations.
• Take attendance and document daily notes.
• Ensure classroom and work is kept clean and orderly.
• Uphold an orderly classroom environment and provide a positive learning experience.
