Job summary

Comprehensive Joint & Spine Institute is seeking a Per Diem Sterile Processing Technician to maintain and prepare surgical instruments and supplies in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–2 years of sterile processing experience, knowledge of sterilizers, and familiarity with OR instrumentation. Certification is preferred. COJSI offers competitive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years sterile processing experience.
• Sterile processing certification preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and cares for surgical instruments; prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
