Job summary

Millennium Surgical Center in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, is seeking a per diem Sterile Processing Technician to support our operating rooms with instrument prep and turnover, ensuring readiness for each case. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, 1–2 years of sterile processing experience, and completion of a sterile processing certification.

Knowledge of sterilizers and OR instrumentation is essential to maintain sterile standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is required
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed

Responsibilities

• Maintains and cares for all surgical instruments
• Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases
