St. Joseph’s Health, located in Paterson, NJ, seeks a Staffing Associate to collaborate with the Staffing Manager, Administrative Supervisors, Nurse Managers and other staff to anticipate and meet daily staffing needs based on acuity and census.
The role includes maintaining staffing records and creating daily schedules, with communication across departments. Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, computer literacy, and Microsoft Office experience.

Maintains staffing office records. Creates and updates daily staffing sheets and schedules. Interacts with staff and other departments through telephone, written, typed and verbal communication.

Requires a High School diploma or equivalent with additional course work in computers and office management and one to two years of previous work related experience. Prior experience with staffing/scheduling preferred. Work requires problem-solving skills necessary to maintain alphabetical filing, develop and adjust detailed, complex schedules, keep records, and accurately organize multiple data elements. Work requires computer skills in order to access and retrieve data needed for staffing, knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred. Work requires communication skills needed to frequently answer telephone calls and work with multiple interruptions and still sustain positive communication. Work requires knowledge of Nursing Service functions and medical terminology.

St. Joseph’s Health provides a salary range to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc.” The salary range does not include incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
