Job summary

ABL Health Care in San Rafael, CA is seeking a Per Diem Part-Time Speech Therapist to provide home health services across San Rafael and surrounding communities. The role involves independent field work with remote collaboration and the Clinical Director.

You will evaluate speech and language needs, design individualized treatment plans, and document progress while coordinating with the interdisciplinary team. This position offers flexible hours and field-based work in Northern California.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Occupational Therapy license (CA) to practice.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in home healthcare.
• Valid California driver’s license and ability to travel within a 25 mile radius.

Responsibilities

• Provide, coordinate, and oversee speech therapy services as per the plan of care.
• Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations of patient status.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Report changes in condition to physicians, case managers, and directors.
• Educate patients and families about speech and language disorders and treatments.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and timely documentation.
