Job summary

MarinHealth is seeking a per diem Speech Pathologist to deliver comprehensive services for patients across communication, cognitive-linguistic, voice, motor-speech, and swallowing disorders. The role includes evaluations, individualized plans of care, and collaboration with physicians and the care team.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, and have demonstrated experience in acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• Demonstrated knowledge of speech-language pathology principles and practices, including swallowing disorders.
• Must be able to evaluate and develop plans of care and communicate results clearly to teams and families.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and interpret results to diagnose communication, cognitive-linguistic, voice, motor-speech, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized plans of care with functional, measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-informed speech-language pathology treatment and educate patients and families.
• Document evaluations, treatment, and discharge recommendations accurately and timely.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care-conferences.
