Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a per diem Speech Language Pathologist to join our rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, plan and treat patients referred by physicians, helping them restore function and resume a normal life.

This role requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current state licensure, and BLS certification. You will collaborate with physicians, participate in CQI activities, and support department budgets while maintaining

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current State Licensure in Speech Pathology.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations to determine problems and goals.
• Assess pain and functional limitations and coordinate physician intervention as needed.
• Provide comprehensive patient care to optimize safety and outcomes.
• Develop and implement teaching plans and evaluate learning with patient and family involvement.
