Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, is seeking a per diem Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients using physician-prescribed modalities. The role focuses on restoring function and helping patients return to normal life despite disability.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, planning and directing treatment, scheduling visits, and participating in department CQI, infection control, and safety programs under the director of rehabilitation

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current State Licensure in Speech Pathology is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred for speech/language pathology to determine problems and goals.
• Plan, direct and treat patients to restore function and maximize participation in daily life.
• Assist in scheduling patient visits and perform administrative duties as directed by Rehabilitation Services leadership.
• Participate in infection control, safety, and CQI activities within the department.

Education
