Job summary

Alliance Health & Human Services is seeking a Speech-Language Therapist for a per diem weekend position at Alliance Health at Marie Esther, a 36-bed non-profit skilled nursing facility in Marlborough, MA. The role involves evaluating referrals, interpreting results, and collaborating with the rehab team to develop resident care plans and treatment plans under physician guidance.

Current MA licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed to practice as a Speech Therapist by the State of Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and screens all resident referrals for the Rehabilitation Department for Speech-Language Therapy.
• Interprets evaluations and may consult with other rehab team members to assess goals and plan of treatment.
• Works with the Interdisciplinary Team to develop the overall Resident Care Plan.
• Establishes a plan of care and treatment in cooperation with and under the prescription of the attending physician.
