Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for primarily weekend acute care PRN roles between Advocate South Suburban and Advocate Trinity in the South Chicago area. Expect 1-2 shifts per month with potential occasional weekday PRN availability.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech Pathology, CCC-SLP, and state license; BLS certification is required. Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment plans, documentation, and care coordination with the care team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP certification required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required (within 90 days, unless exempt).

Responsibilities

• Interprets referrals and conducts speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
• Develops and implements a written plan of care and monitors outcomes.
• Completes discharge planning and timely documentation including evaluations and progress notes.
• Coordinates with physicians and team; ensures billing and productivity standards.
