Job summary

Belle Springs Care Center in Bellefontaine, OH seeks a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for per diem coverage. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders in a rehab/long-term care setting, with collaboration across disciplines to maximize patient outcomes.

The SLP will design individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and educate patients and families on communication strategies and swallowing safety.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current and active SLP license with ASHA CCC-SLP is required.
• Healthcare, long-term care, or rehabilitation experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide therapy for dysphagia.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans; document in EHR.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safety.
