Job summary

Regency Hospital in Sylvania, OH seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for per diem/coverage as needed. Compensation is $51 per hour with the ability to pick up shifts at both Sylvania and Oregon locations.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certified BLS or completion within first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Take initiative and responsibility daily for patients' physical, mental, psychological and social needs.
• Collaborate with associates to provide quality interdisciplinary patient programming.
• Provide comprehensive evaluation of communication skills and/or swallowing function; deliver goal‑oriented treatment.
• Monitor quality of services in Rehab Therapy Department; participate in peer reviews.
• Assist in developing SLP programs and revising policies and procedures.
• Maintain adequate stock of supplies; share knowledge with colleagues and alert management to educational needs.
