Job summary

Sevita’s NeuroRestorative division is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist in Riverton, Utah. You will provide speech therapy to adult and pediatric patients in a per diem role with no guaranteed hours.

Requires Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure, and CCCs; medical SLP and pediatric experience preferred. You will assess, treat, document, and coordinate care with clinicians and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology.
• Current state licensure/certification as a Speech Therapist.
• CCC’s required.
• Medical SLP experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and administer speech therapy using techniques that assist in rehabilitation of speech, language, voice, and swallowing.
• Review records, test and evaluate individuals, develop treatment plans, and administer therapy.
• Provide evaluations, documentation, and communication of medical information.
• Assess speech and language skills, articulation, voice and fluency disorders.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized therapy plans with the Director of Clinical Services and physician.
• Identify and develop intervention strategies and review medical data to measure effectiveness.
• Instruct individuals, family members, and caregivers to maintain or achieve optimal functioning.
• Coordinate home care services through documentation and transfer of data to physicians and caregivers.
• Review and document evaluation reports summarizing tests and diagnoses.
• Report and record assessments and patient changes per orders and policies.
• Investigate concerns or complaints and maintain HIPAA compliance.
