Job summary

Mission Healthcare, based in the western United States, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for per diem home health in Saint George, UT. You will evaluate patients, develop therapy plans, and work with a collaborative clinical team to support communication and swallowing goals.

Requires Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, state licensure, and CPR/BLS. Home health experience is preferred; strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA.
• State license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• At least one year of clinical experience in speech-language pathology (home health experience preferred).
• Current BLS (CPR) certification - hands-on training required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations and assess the home environment to support therapy goals.
• Develop and implement personalized plans of care for patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide therapy using specialized techniques and equipment tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Coordinate care with referring physicians and other clinical team members.
• Participate in case conferences, training sessions, and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure cohesive care delivery.
• Accurately document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with agency policies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in speech-language pathology practices.
