NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a per diem Speech-Language Pathologist in the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department, based in NewYork Presbyterian Queens. The role focuses on evaluation and treatment of patients with communication and swallowing disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program.
• Active NYS Speech‑Language Pathology license.
• ASHA CCC‑SLP credential (CCC‑SLP).
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat medically complex patients with communication and swallowing disorders in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Coordinate care plans and provide education and support to patients, families, and staff.
• Serve as a clinical resource while contributing to continuous improvement within the department.
• Support professional growth and leadership opportunities within the PM&R team.
