Job summary

Opis Senior Services Group is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist for a per diem role in Lakeland, FL. The SLP will evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, develop personalized plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care.

You will document progress, educate patients and families, and participate in ongoing professional development within a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Strong assessment, diagnosis, and therapy planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals.
• Deliver therapy for communication disorders, fluency challenges, voice issues, and swallowing difficulties.
• Use evidence-based methods and cutting-edge techniques to boost patient progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care.
• Track patient progress, document sessions, and maintain records.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies for everyday success.
