Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology required.
• Clinical doctorate in speech-language pathology (SLPD) and/ or PhD in SLP or communication sciences and disorders preferred.
• Active license to practice speech language pathology in the state of anticipated employment required.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA - OR - SLP-CFs considered on a case-by-case basis with supervision required.
• At least one year of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Current BLS for healthcare providers certification on hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement treatment for patients with disorders of speech, language, cognition, swallowing and other services prescribed by a physician.
• Assist in developing and implementing new and ongoing programs beneficial for the department.
