Job summary

Regency Hospital - Upstate in Anderson, SC is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a Per Diem/PRN schedule. You will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, delivering goal-oriented therapy to promote maximum patient function.

You will collaborate with Rehab Therapy staff to ensure interdisciplinary care and contribute to maintaining high standards of inpatient post-ICU services for chronically ill patients.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
• Certified BLS or completion within first 90 days of employment is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation of communication skills and/or swallowing function.
• Deliver goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum communication and/or swallowing potential.
• Collaborate with Rehab Therapy staff to ensure high-quality interdisciplinary patient programming.
• Participate in peer review and staff performance appraisals; support development of SLP programs and department policies.
