Job summary

MarinHealth is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based treatment for patients with communication, cognitive-linguistic, voice, motor-speech, and swallowing disorders. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans and educate patients and families.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, California SLP license, and CCC-SLP certification, with prior acute care or hospital experience

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the state board; CCC-SLP certification required.
• Experience in evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders in healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and interpret results to diagnose speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, voice, motor-speech, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized plans of care with functional, measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-informed therapy and progress documentation.
• Educate patients and families about swallowing impairments and communication strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
