Job summary

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist is required.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Take initiative and address the physical, mental, and social needs of patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide quality patient programming.
• Perform comprehensive evaluation of communication and swallowing function and provide goal-oriented therapy.
• Monitor service quality in Rehab Therapy Department.
• Participate in peer reviews and staff appraisals.
• Assist in developing SLP programs and updating policies.
