Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital- Cleveland Fairhill is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for per diem coverage in Cleveland, OH. This role involves comprehensive evaluations of communication and swallowing, goal‑directed therapy, and collaboration with the Rehab Therapy team to deliver high‑quality patient care.

Qualified candidates will have current state licensure as an SLP, and must obtain BLS certification within 90 days. Preferred CCC‑SLP certification.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist is required.
• Certified BLS or completion within first 90 days of employment is required.
• Preferred CCC‑SLP certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of communication and swallowing functions and set goals.
• Collaborate with rehab team to provide interdisciplinary patient care.
• Monitor quality of services in Rehab Therapy Department.
• Participate in peer reviews for staff performance and appraisals.
• Assist in developing SLP programs and revising policies and procedures.
• Maintain supplies for SLP and alert Manager to educational needs.
