Job summary

Redmont Health and Rehab is hiring a Speech Therapist (SLP) to develop and direct Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. Per Diem/PRN status described in the posting.

The role involves delivering quality therapy, creating treatment plans, documenting in NetHealth EMR, and ensuring FEES/MBS protocols are implemented with proper supervision. Active state licensure and CCC-SLP are required, with ongoing CE.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency is required.
• Active SLP license in state(s) of practice is required.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals as appropriate.
• Evaluate and obtain data for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop a treatment plan with target list, short-term and long-term goals.
• Instruct patient, family, and staff in speech-language procedures for carryover of remediation.
• Complete compliant CMS documentation in NetHealth EMR.
• Oversee FEES/MBS protocols and coordinate site programs.
• Participate in screening protocols to meet residents' needs timely and with clinical excellence.

Education

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology

Certificate of Clinical Competency
