The Springs of Batesville in Batesville, AR is seeking a Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab team. This PRN role supports residents with person-centered care, focusing on swallowing and cognitive goals and AAC systems as needed.

Requirements include Arkansas licensure in Speech-Language Pathology and current ASHA cert. We value SNF/long-term care experience and offer flexible scheduling, in-house rehab, and competitive benefits for qualified clinicians.

Qualifications

• Active/Valid Arkansas license in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current ASHA Certification
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
• SNF/Long term care experience preferred
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred

Responsabilités

• Evaluate residents' swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to increase independence.
• Provide AAC systems for severe expressive/language disorders.
• Educate residents, caregivers, and other professionals as SME.
• Coordinate with other professionals for diagnostic swallow procedures (MBSS, FEES).
• Maintain accurate billing records and clinical documentation.
• Communicate changes in resident conditions.
• Observe confidentiality and safeguard patient information.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
